Contractor liability insurance is what it sounds like; a type of insurance meant to protect against lawsuits when a contractor is hired for work.
Those who rely on contract workers are at risk if they do not own contractor liability insurance. No other type of insurance or employment laws will protect you from liability if something happens to your contractor. The only way to be sure your finances are safe is with contractor liability insurance. If one of your workers is injured on the job, the employer is always the first to get the blame.
